The 2025 Conference theme is: ‘Leadership and collaboration to connect a divided world’.
Promoting and investing in a public health system that fosters collaboration and bridges divides should be a priority in Australia. As public health professionals, it is critical we continue to listen to diverse voices and advocate for leadership that unites rather than separates. This is especially pertinent as global mental health concerns and the need for health diplomacy are not receiving the attention they deserve. Collaboratively, we need to scale up efforts to ensure greater understanding by the public and decision makers that groups and communities within Australia face unique challenges in an increasingly fragmented world.
PHAA's Annual General Meeting will be held during the conference on Tuesday 16 September.
