Professor Muhammad Aziz Rahman is a public health physician and an
experienced academic. He is currently working as the Research Adviser
and Discipline Leader of Public Health at Federation University
Australia.
He has a sound track record of providing leadership in
teaching and research nationally and internationally focusing on
different aspects of public health including health promotion.
His
research includes non-communicable diseases, tobacco, global burden of
diseases and disadvantaged populations. He has been co-convening the HP
SIG for the last three years and is a current Board member for PHAA. He
is also one of the Board of Directors at the Council for Academic Public
Health Institutions Australasia (CAPHIA).
