We're supporting, nurturing, and training the next generation of public health leaders who'll serve in communities across Australia and around the world.

We provide members with assistance in numerous ways, including scholarships, coaching, networking, and more.

Scholarships

Scholarships offered by SYPPH, Branches, and Special Interest Groups


Scholarships

Our branches and special interest groups have scholarships to assist with conference expenses. These can be used on things like flights and accommodation. Successful recipients are obligated to write about their attendance eg for our Intouch public health blog.

Professional Development Grants

Our Students and Young Professionals in Public Health (SYPPH) Committee offers up to $1,000 for any professional development activity, for example training or a workshop, that is related to public health.

Up to six are offered each financial year.

 

PHAA National Public Health Student Think Tank Competition

The Students and Young Professionals in Public Health (SYPPH) committee offer an annual National Public Health Student Think Tank Competition including PHAA Student membership, conference registration, travel, and accomodation, and the opportunity to present at the Australian Public Health Conference.
