The South Australian Branch of the PHAA is committed to advancing public health in South Australia. This is achieved by member's involvement on public health, primary health care and environmental health committees and groups, by conducting a seminar program, assisting in professional development and advocacy.
Current Initiatives
- Representation on the Primary Health Care Policy Committee.
- Representation on the Health Reform Network which promotes health reform through the SA Generational Health Review.
- Cooperative work with the South Australian Refugee Health Network.

Executive Meetings are held each month and at least four public seminars are held each year.
