Mission:
To improve the health of all people in the Northern Territory through public health, advocacy and action addressing health inequities.
Issues:
- Alcohol: to support actions aimed to reduce NT per capital alcohol consumption to national average.
- Climate change: for an effective response to climate change (mitigation and adaptation).
- Nuclear Industry: to support public action to remove the nuclear industry from the NT.
- Road safety issues: support strategies to improve road safety in the NT and reduce the level of NT road trauma (fatalities and injury) to the same per capita levels of other Australian jurisdictions.
- Aboriginal health: priority area with particular emphasis in supporting Aboriginal community-controlled health organisations to deliver Comprehensive Primary Health Care services.
- The People's Health Movement (PHM): active engagement with civil society action in support of the PHM goals nationally and internationally.

- Really caring for Kids Coalition (NT wide health organisations coalition for the review of the NT Child Protection Act)
- Australian Nuclear Free Alliance (National Aboriginal and NGO Alliance)
Meeting Calendar:
2nd Tuesday each month 5:15 pm, (unless otherwise notified- usually no meeting in January).
