Previous NSW Public Health Impact Award (PHIA) winners (1997-2014)
The NSW Branch of the Public Health Association of Australia, in partnership with the Menzies Centre for Health Policy, and the NSW Branch of the Australian Health Promotion Association, is pleased to announce The Great Election Debate: Public Health in NSW.
2014 PHIA winner: Professor Rebecca Ivers for her contribution to injury prevention
The Great Election Debate: Public Health in NSW is designed to enable candidates from the major parties to answer key questions and provide information on party policies on public health ahead of the NSW election.
The debate will be facilitated by Michael Moore, the CEO of the Public Health Association of Australia.
Candidates will each have an opportunity to provide a short overview of party policies on public health issues and be asked to provide respond to a series of questions on key public health issues in the state and national context. Candidates will also take part in a short question and answer session with the audience.
