Donations and Sponsors

Jalaris Aboriginal Corporation has been endorsed by the Australian Tax office as an income exempt charitable entity.  This means that any donations made to Jalaris Aboriginal Corporation are tax deductible for the donor.  Tax receipts will be provided for all donations.

Jalaris, the Public Health Association of Australia and others are actively seeking sponsors and donations to support both the Jalaris Learning Project - Learning Culture and Health, also known as the Kids Future Club Project, and other Jalaris programs.  Donations are very welcome, and much needed.

All sponsors will be acknowledged on this website unless the donor request anonymity.

Monetary donations are the most urgent need for Jalaris and this project, especially funding to pay salaries.  It is important that Jalaris receive monetary donations as these enable local decision-making about the allocation of resources.  However, other donations are also very welcome, especially for items that are difficult to obtain in Derby.  Such donations could include:

• stationary for children to use (pencils, pens, paper, children's scissors, glue);
• educational games including jigsaw puzzles, boggle, scrabble, number games;
• art and craft materials (books on and paper for origami, acrylic paints, paper and brushes, crayon sets);
• educational books, story books - suitable for children from pre-school to approximately 12 years;
• sporting equipment such as balls, bats, skipping ropes, sports games;
• good quality clothing.
