- up to five nominated persons may attend PHAA Annual Conference and Special Interest Conferences, workshops and seminars at the PHAA membership rate
- one nominated person's email address (the person nominated as the contact on the membership application form) to be placed on the PHAA national member's email list
- six issues a year of PHAA's peer-reviewed academic journal, the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Public Health and access to the journal on PHAA's website, and the option to purchase additional subscriptions of the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Public Health at the special discount rate of 0 per annum
- discounted rates for advertising or for placing inserts in our current publications inTouch and the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Public Health

Student and Aboriginal Health Worker Membership benefits:
Students and Aboriginal health workers receive the PHAA Newsletter, inTouch and are subscribed to our job email list. Students and Aboriginal health workers are also given access to our members only section on the website, where PDF files of the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Public Health and other publications are available.
Proof of being a student such as a photocopy of your student card is required. This can be emailed, faxed or posted to the Public Health Association's Secretariat.
